VIDEO: Obama Jokes To The Media: “All of you voted for me”; Makes Fun of Himself to Hilarious Laughter

The lack of a free impartial and fair media is a centerpiece of our democracy.  Now it has become a joke….Seems a dangerous trend that needs to be addressed…

Then there is the matter of good taste….

President Obama began with a kind of awkward TelePrompter gag — and then hit one out with a joke that cut a little too close to the bone for many conservatives.

Looking out on the crowd of 3,000, Obama declared:

“Most of you covered me (pause)… All of you voted for me.”

Then he looked for the FOX table – and Glenn Beck pumped his fists.

He referenced his wife’s “right to bear arms,” then goofed on Rahm Emanuel’s plan for Mother’s Day.

“It’s a tough holiday for [him]… He’s not used to saying the word day after mother… that’s true.”

His turn at the annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner Saturday spared no one — not even his own administration.

“I would like to talk about what my administration plans to achieve in the next 100 days,” Obama said. “During the second 100 days, we will design, build and open a library dedicated to my first 100 days.”

He added later, “I believe that my next 100 days will be so successful, I will be able to complete them in 72 days — and on the 73rd day I will rest.”

Near the end of his talk, Obama turned serious and spoke of the financially struggling media industry, praising journalists for holding government officials accountable. “A government without newspapers, a government without a tough and vibrant media of all sorts is not an option for the United States of America,” he said.
